Bettina's life has been a journey across continents and cultures. Born in Vienna, Austria, she had to leave her homeland at a young age due to her family's relocation for work. This early exposure to new languages and cultures ignited her curiosity for the world. Settling in the US for college, Bettina met her adventurous husband, and together they ventured into the culinary world, opening a creperie in South Florida. A creperie is a restaurant that specializes in serving French pancakes, known as crepes. Over the years, they raised their two daughters in the warmth of Florida but eventually yearned for a change. Moving to Hendersonville, North Carolina, after 25 years, they were captivated by the town's natural beauty, friendly atmosphere, and proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains. Embracing outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and skiing, they found joy and fulfillment in their new home, creating cherished memories with their family.
